Mental health
Kia ora bloggers, on Friday we had a Gumboot Friday. If you don’t know what Gumboot Friday was, it is a day that New Zealand encourage you to wear Gumboots to fundraiser for charity. If you were wearing Gumboots on Tuesday you were really showing your respect, and when you even give some money to the charity. On Friday 30 students from the senior syndicate signed some booklets from the Government, to see the kids opinion to see what they would say. On Monday one of the teachers look at one person’s booklet from the senior syndicate, and it said that we could drop off positive uplifting letters into random people's mailboxes. So on Monday we started to make positive uplifting cards to put in people’s mailbox. We started in our books, and then we had to make up or search up on google nice things to say to people. When we were finish we had to show the teacher when the teacher sees it than they will say if yes and then you have to go on the card and do your best writing. Then on Tuesday we started to send to people. The idea came from the Healthy Puketapapa Student Questionnaire, this year's topic for the senior syndicate is Hauora-Well being. My opinion is that everyone should have shelter because when you are poor and it is raining there is no place for you to sleep, then when it is they would just get wet and then they would get sick.
Bye bloggers see you later.
