The teams went to Eden Park but the thing that all of us was sad about was that we didn't  get to play in the real stadium. So we had to play on the place where they warmed up. So the boys  team and girls team had seven games. The boys teams came first in the pool and then the girls almost won but the team they vs got no goals and the girls team got no goals to, so it was a draw. But we still got into the stadium and took a photo, our first game we won five zero. We got to see the Women's World Cup. Here are some photos.

swimming at Cameron Pools

Swimming at Cameron Pools T his week Te Waka Ako and the middle school has been going down Cameron Pools to learn how to swim. We always go down on Tuesdays, Thursdays and we have lunchtime swimming on Wednesday and Friday. When we go down to the Cameron Pools there are different pools, there's one for little kids and the ones for the bigger kids and adults. When we went got down there we learned how to get in the pool and how to get out of the pool without using the ladder. We also learnt how to float and we learned how to freestyle. Last year the teachers had a race for the house groups. The house groups are Kea, Tui, Pukeko and Ruru. The teachers won last year, they were super quick. I wonder who will win this year? W e learned that when you are at the beach and you're in the middle of nowhere, you keep swimming and if you get tired you can float on your front and back.
